and FOUND

My wallet has found its way home via the US postal service. Someone put my wallet in the mail box and my mailman delivered it to me today. Of course, I had to pay $2.25 in postage. The money was gone, as was the bag it was in. But, it did make it back and I take comfort in knowing that my ID isn't being used by someone. I looked at my wallet and wanted to know the story behind where it had been and who sent it back! I will never know!

HURRAY! Bummer about the money, though.

That's amazing! I can't believe you got it back. Had you already canceled credit cards, etc?

Wow! I'm sorry the money was gone, but at least you didn't have to go to the DMV! It's almost worth paying that amount of money to avoid that place!

I did cancel all my credit cards and I already went to the DMV. Luckily, I went to the DMV express and was in and out in 10 minutes. Can you believe that?

Yes, I would still say to even get replacement cards if you hadn't had them replaced because they can write down your numbers including the 3-digit code on the back, and use them for anything online. I'm SOOO glad for you that you got it back! That was really great of someone to send it to you, even without the money.

I was so nervous for you when you lost your wallet. That's one of my worst nightmares. I worry about it here in lil' slc. I can't imagine thinking about it in nyc. I'm so glad that you got it back and were able to take care of things. and.... Happy Birthday! Hope your day treats you well!

You had to pay? When I got mine back the same way the postage was paid for.
