Our final photography class/assignment was an actual "photo shoot." Lesley, our fearless leader and teacher arranged to have some willing "models" for our photo shoot. I found it quite difficult to tell them where to stand, how to have them perfect and natural all at the same time, and just capture great shots, particularly the artistic ones. I took hundreds of pictures and I got about 15 that I felt were good enough to post on the blog. But, I learned a lot from the shoot. I also have to add that it was probably hilarious to watch our group. There were about 13 of us and our cameras chasing after these models and each other.

Day in the Life of My Three Boys
One of our homework assignments was to capture the day in the life of someone or something. I decided to capture my 3 three boys. I am looking forward to doing this again because I wasn't thrilled with these pictures, but I do feel like they capture some of our typical day! My favorite pictures are of their journals. I love that they keep journals and it was completely on their own that they started them.
Photography Class
I took a photography class from my friend Lesley with a bunch of other friends. I really enjoyed it and feel like I learned a lot. I do feel like I improved, but feel I have a LONG way to go. But, atleast I understand it all a little better. The first class and first assignments were very technical. WE learned about Aperture, ISO, Shutter Speed, White Ballance and Lighting. In the second class we learned more about the art of taking a picture, context, framing, in-camera cropping, perspective, and a few other things. I think that is where I struggle the most. Here are some of the pictures from my homework assignments.
