Memories

So, this is the first time I am posting something like this. It kinda reminds me of a chain letter of sorts, only for blogs, but I just did it on my friend's blog and I kinda liked thinking about the memories I had with her, so I thought I would try it.. Here it goes..

Here are the directions:
1. As a comment on my blog, leave a memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember, good or bad but be nice!!!!!!!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments. We can make it a competition if anyone wants. Let's see who can come up with the funniest memory and who has the most memories. Please keep it going. ENJOY :)

My favorite memories with you are our Paris memories. Like trying to teach you to harmonize on your (stinky) bed on Sunday nights. Or our coin guessing game. And Greg calling us to see what we were up to, because he had already called everyone else on his "list". And, of course, Amérique (wasn't that his name?) and his yellow sweater. And how could I forget our haricuts -- our Parisian haircuts! I could go on and on and on. But that's probably enough.

I'm so glad we are going back!

Uhhh...."trimming" your toe nails so that I could sleep on the top bunk with you...
Will we ever forget that one?
And do you know how cool I felt when you dropped me off at middle school when you were on your way to school? Everyone thought I had the prettiest sister:)
Durango was a blast! Kayaking, eating out, the movie "Chocolat", tennis, getting pulled over after being followed for about a mile (and getting off), and was it "Annie Get Your Gun"?
And it was the day before Grandpa Nolte's funeral, at the funeral home, when you stood up to share your feelings...you were pregnant with Gavin at the time and you just GLOWED!
My sister is beautiful:)
and wonderful and marvelous...:)

I wish we had gotten to know each other better when we were in New York. My memories of you are mostly play group memories. I loved being able to sit and chat with you and all the other Upper West Side mommies in Riverside Park while we watched our little ones play, and fall, and fight. :) Good times. New York play groups really were the best!

I always liked harrasing you about your boyfriends-WNBA guy, and the other guy before you upgraded and got with a wonderful one like Boyd.

We had so many. Walking home Daytona from school, getting lice together in 4th grade, using your mom's scrap material box to make little purses, sewing our first skirts with your mom, your piggyback spiral perms, staying up all hours of the night reading Babysitter's Club, playing house in your front yard, you climbing on the roof (I'm pretty sure I never made it up there), crushes on Dominic from Needles, fighting over who liked Josh Macey first, Starline Elementary. Wow this has taken me back. Those were the days, huh?
