Jamie's Visit and The End of the Summer
The Brunson's came to visit in August. We are so lucky that they love New York so much and come back every year because we miss them so much. Unfortunately, I didn't get a ton of pictures, but we had a great time. We even got to go to dinner with them without children! It is hard to believe we each have 3 children each now. I have also included a few random iphone pictures of the end of our summer!

Pinata and more cousin fun!
The kids had so much fun playing with cousins. Again, we loved the time they had to bond. We enjoyed great food and great games while we were there as well. The McNeeley gang is super talented and made a Monster's INC pinata for some memorable fun.
Hike, waterfalls, and swimming hole
One of our favorite parts of the trip was a hike we took to some waterfalls. The waterfalls ended up being watering holes where you could swim. So we decided to stay and swim! It was a bit scary because it was very slippery. Aunt Mollie helped the boys out of some scary situations as I couldn't get to them because I had Joshua. But, we survived and had a great time
Horeseback ride
We went horseback riding. Well, Boyd and the kids did. I sat in the car with Joshua, Kimberly, and Julia. :) It was Eli's first time on a horse and it was Gavin's first time riding a horse all by himself. I was pretty nervous for them, but they both did great!

Nelson/McGinnis Reunion - Maryland
Just after we returned from our trip to Utah we embarked on a road trip to Maryland where Boyd's family was having a reunion. Before we left we were able to spend a weekend with Mollie (Boyd's sister)here in NYC. She then drove with us down to Maryland. We really enjoyed that time with her.
The family rented a huge house and a condo for all of us to stay it. It was huge and it had lots of fun things to do there. We arrived fairly late the first night, but were still able to enjoy the fire pit and some hot dogs and s'mores.
Then we headed inside for a very entertaining talent show. We sang, "Take Me Out to the Ball Game" for our talent.
